Winter Scenic

by Dave Streeter
(Winnipeg)

I heard that there was hoar frost early in the morning on last Dec 24th so I went to Birds Hill Park with my daughter. The sky was totally overcast so there was very little color in what we were viewing. I like the way just a hint of color shows in the trees.

I shot in raw, so I was able to correct for the exposure a bit although I have lost a bit of detail in the snow.

This was shot with an Olympus E10 at 1/250, f2.0 at ISO 80. The zoom was set at approx 75mm in 35mm equivalent terms.
