Sofia

Sofia

We were in Mexico last year at a fund raiser for the SPCA. We walked into the host's house and saw Sofia, a street dog that had been rescued 2 weeks prior. The story goes that she broke off from her pack and was hanging out near the host's table at a restaurant in Mismiloya. The couple agreed that if she was still there at the end of their dinner, they would rescue and foster her. She stayed, falling asleep on one of the couple's feet. We adopted her and brought her home to Oregon. She's beautiful and brilliant. The pale pallet in this IR portrate taken with a converted Nikon D70 at f/5.6, 1/13, iso 200 captures her angelic character.
