Scarlet Tanager

Scarlet Tanager

Taken with Nikon D70 with Sigma 170-500 mm @ 500 mm. 1/400 sec @ f/6.3.
This bird was found in the Cleveland Metroparks, in North Olmsted Ohio.
Very little crop and sharpening in PS 7, colors just about as is, as I found this bird in beautiful light.

love it

the colors are great and I love the way the background forms a triangle that frames the bird - it just draws me right in.
