Pano of Vltava River from the Charles Bridge

Pano of Vltava River from the Charles Bridge

Pano of Vltava River from the Charles Bridge

On a blustery afternoon this past December, I shot a series of 10 images (handheld) from the midpoint along the Charles Bridge. I used a Nikon D300 and an AF Nikkor 50mm f/1.4 lens - 1/125 at f/4.5 at ISO 200. I've had a fair amount of experience shooting images for panoramics - usually in a very precise process with a wide angle lens and a pano head mounted on a tripod. This time I took a chance shooting handheld with a 50mm. The next afternoon during the train ride from Prague to Salzburg, I stitched and blended the images together using Photoshop CS3.
