Curious

by Scott Hoffman
(Philadelphia, PA, USA)

Caught an anole in Florida and brought it into a screened porch outside with bright sunlight and let it explore on its own. I really had the idea that I would snap as many pics as possible hopefully getting at least one good one, and this was it. Lucky shot using a Nikon cool pix 8400 (no longer in production) with no filters or tripod, just the preset macro mode on the camera.

Used software to slightly increase contrast and added a very small increase in saturation as well.

The sun's light was cooperating and I tried to stay patient (sometimes that's the hardest part!!)

I'm no pro as you can probably tell by the kind of camera I have, but I have taught myself a great deal about photography with books and online resources and I've been working to improve my pictures in my free time.

I doubt its worth anything anyway, but it would be super awesome if you didn't steal my picture!
