(Almost) Free Valentines Postcards & Thank you Cards
Valentine Postcards? Honour a good friend? Recognize a true buddy? Someone who’s trekked through swamps with you, and
taught you there’s more to taking nature photographs than just clicking a button? The only person you’d lend your 500mm
telephoto lens to in a heartbeat? LET THEM KNOW IT! Or just say “Thanks!”
I get asked almost every day for prints of these images! I like them too. In fact several months ago, I sent a postcard of the frogs to an old friend I had not seen in years, since she moved to Toronto. But the photo made me think of her. Her and I. So different – but the just the same! You probably know a buddy like that too.
So, anyway, I sent her the photo with a note scrawled on the back, just to let her know I still think about her, and all the crazy things we did years ago when it was still moderately ok to be crazy.
She called the day she received it to say
that it made her day, she’d wanted to call me for months but didn’t know what I would think about her making contact after so long...
So, just for fun, I made them into Valentines Postcards. But they make great thank you cards too. Keep in touch. Let your friends (or business associates and clients) know you appreciate them; and you never know when they’ll lend you their gear! ;-)
Get one valentines postcard (or get a bunch) just in time for Valentine’s Day (February 14th, if you celebrate it). If not start a trend – share your love of nature with someone you love.
I bet you’ll take better photos if you do! (wink).
Each valentines postcard is 4" x 6" professionally printed by a commercial printer, on 12 point semi glossy stock, for just one dollar (an American dollar, and a tiny bit for a stamp, because I’ll send them to you in an envelope).
But these will only be available for a short time. I only have a small supply on hand – once they are gone, I won’t be selling any more of these. Happy Valentines Day!
